1.5 billion years of water were removed from a rock in a mine in Canada, where copper and zinc were removed. British and Canadian researchers in the Timmins region of Canada, near Ontario, found a pre-historic water containing a considerable amount of hydrogen and methane. It is believed that the water front remains on the surface, and then it infiltrates into the rocks.
WATER BEFORE HISTORY?
The researchers stated that the microorganisms contained in the water, which they think belonged to this date, will give a lot of information about the period.
Previously, the water in South Africa belonged to millions of years ago. Through the investigations, information about the period in which the organisms in the water were examined was obtained. However, this water has the oldest water feature to date. The researchers will be able to examine the structure of the water and have knowledge about life one and a half billion years ago.
